Summary: This thesis aims to analyze how the process of producing didactic material occurred for students with low vision in a municipal school as well as to propose a complementary technic through the production of teaching material in 3D. Regarding the methodology, it was chosen the ethnographic for a case study with participative research, which allowed us to work in the research field directly, aiming at the understanding of how works the process of producing teaching material for students with visual impairment in the city, specially in one of the schools that is considered a reference for the visual impairment area in both shifts. As a mechanism for the data gathering, used interviews allowed us to have more clarity in the capture of the data that is going to be used by the people involved in the research, direct and indirectly. In addition, audiovisual aids such as photos and videos were used as well, enabling more fidelity in the data that was determined, and as well as in the application of a field diary for registration during all the development of the research. For the theoretical background, we used the historical-cultural of Vigotski, which discuss the relevance of the process of schooling for people with disability, the environment and the school interaction as an indispensable instrument of that process. For that, we make reference to the concept of: Social Interaction, Overcompensation, Mediation, primary and secondary disability, Signs, Internalisation, Imminent Development Zone, Social Language and Superior Psychological Functions. As the social intervention, form and product, we propose the confection of the teaching resources in 3D with the aim to facilitate, with more precision, the process of schooling for students with visual impairment. The confection of this material is going to happen with resources for the science field. In that the students will be capable to comprehend how it happens the functioning of the human body. As a result, we could observe that the specialized teachers involved in this process seek to amplify all the contents, activities and evaluations previously requested by the regent teachers aiming to benefit the schooling of that student. However, the material created in a artisanal manner was not able to repeat the speed or the quantity of copies that were necessary. Besides that, the 3D material were more exact as the real ones.
