Computer resources

The PPGE has invested in the maintenance and renovation of IT equipment to better serve the administrative work of the Program's general secretariat and the student and faculty. Furthermore, the entire PPGE building has free internet access for faculty, students, and guests.
 
Currently, the program has a significant number of data projectors, notebooks, and computers used by faculty and staff. It has a study room for students, equipped with computers connected to the internet and the qualitative research software NVIVO. All computers in the building are networked, connected to the Data Processing Center via fiber optics.
 
Furthermore, the Education Center has two laboratories for use by students and faculty.
Laboratory I (LIGCE) has:
35 computers connected to the internet;
1 fixed data projector (installed on the laboratory ceiling);
1 digital whiteboard;
1 high-power sound system – 2 amplified speakers in a row;
1 computer dedicated to the data projector, digital whiteboard, and high-powered sound system – for the exclusive use of professors, laboratory staff, and previously authorized students;
1 computer with printer and scanner for the exclusive use of laboratory staff for administrative purposes.
 
Laboratory II has:
15 computers connected to the internet;
 
The PPGE office is also computerized, facilitating the optimization of student registration and academic monitoring, supporting professors' teaching and research activities, and their specific administrative functions.
 
Auditorium
The PPGE Auditorium is specially equipped for hosting and broadcasting events. The Auditorium features:
- 1 high-powered soundboard with 4 amplified speakers;
- 1 video console; - 1 video camera;
- 1 fixed data projector with a retractable screen;
- 2 desktop microphones and 2 wireless microphones;
- 1 laptop. Defense Rooms
 
The PPGE defense rooms are equipped to host dissertations and defenses with remote committee members. The rooms are equipped with: Room 14D:
-1 laptop;
-1 television;
-1 videoconferencing device.
 
Room 23M:
-1 laptop;
-1 television.
 
Public Policy Observatory
The Public Policy Observatory is a study room with three desktop computers connected to the internet.
